Hempseed oil, an everyday essential and here’s why.

The body can build most of the different fats it needs from any other fat in our diet, even from carbohydrates. However, it can't build omega 6 & 3; therefore, we must have them in our diet. 

• To prevent deficiency, you must have between 6 – 11% (about 1 tablespoon) of your daily energy as polyunsaturated fat (PUFA)

• Replacing saturated fat with omega 6 & 3 decreases the risk of coronary heart disease, as studies have shown.

• Studies have shown that adequate consumption of omega 6 & 3 lowers LDL (bad stuff) and increased HDL (good stuff). 

One tablespoon of our hempseed oil (15 ml):

Recommended PUFA range is 6 – 11% of your daily energy requirement. One tablespoon will give you 4.34% of your daily energy requirement. Have 2 tablespoons and you’ll be ‘bang on’ for your health.

Ingredients:

We cold press 100% Hempseed oil without using solvents. Our process may result in some sediment.

Suggested Uses:

Use as a base for salad dressings, drizzle over pasta & potatoes, enhance the flavour of fish, seafood, meats & vegetables and enjoy as a dipping oil.

You can use our hempseed for cooking. It is safe for oven cooking at 190deg C for up to one hour.

A tablespoon (even 2) daily – can be taken off the spoon or mixed with fruit juice, yoghurt and smoothies. 

Once opened, please keep refrigerated. Consume within 3 months. Also you can store your oil in the freezer. Consume within 6 months.
