Hemp seeds

Hemp seeds are packed with vitamin E, minerals, antioxidants, and fibre, with B vitamin levels similar to other grains. Their standout feature is the high-quality protein (65% edestin, 35% albumin) and fatty acids.

Containing all nine essential amino acids, hemp seeds are rich in sulphur-containing amino acids (methionine, cysteine), often scarce in plant proteins, making them nutritionally comparable to soy. They have a delicious nutty flavour.

Hemp milk is dairy free, soy free, tree nut free, gluten free, cholesterol free, vegan, non–genetically modified organism, kosher, and low in sodium, and it has no trans-fat.

Hemp Seed Oil

Hemp seed oil is rich in in the two essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, omega-6 and omega-3, offering numerous health benefits including heart-health. Unlike fish, hemp is mercury-free and contains super-polyunsaturated gamma-linolenic acid (GLA; omega-6) and stearidonic acid (omega-3). Hemp oil/fat is comparable to walnut oil.

Two tablespoons of hemp seeds provide 11 g protein and 2 g alpha-linolenic acid (ALA; omega-3).
