Packed with hemp hearts, nuts, and dried fruit, these snack balls are perfect for a quick snack or a pre-workout boost. They’re easy to make and can be stored in the fridge for a handy treat.
Ingredients (for 12 balls)
- 1/2 cup Hemp & Co hemp hearts
- 1/2 cup pitted dates, chopped
- 1/4 cup dried fruit (cranberries chopped)
- 1/4 cup nuts (almonds finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Add 1/2 tsp orange zest
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a food processor, pulse hemp hearts, dates, dried fruit, nuts, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until a sticky dough forms.
- Add orange zest during processing.
- Scoop out 1 tbsp portions and roll into large marble-sized balls.
- Place balls on a parchment-lined tray and chill for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
